Kamut
A whole wheat that was rediscovered in 1949. Highly nutritious because of its fatty acid profile. Kamut provides high-energy, and selenium which provides immune support and is a cancer preventative antioxidant. Kamut is high in minerals zinc, manganese and magnesium. High in protein – 1/2 cup provides 6 grams of protein at 140 calories.

Suggestions:

Toss in a kale salad with braised sweet potatoes, parsley, red onions. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and extra virgin olive oil or squeeze a meyer lemon and sea salt to taste.

Warm Breakfast Cereal – cook with Edenesque Honey Vanilla almond milk over low heat and add blueberries and walnuts.
